AXA Assistance Corporate Health Alert Avian Influenza
     7th March 2005 Summary Status Amber: Medium risk. There are currently no restrictions on travel being imposed by the World Health Organisation (WHO), but it is strongly advised that travellers to areas affected by H5N1 infection avoid exposure to live poultry and uncooked meat, including duck. There have been outbreaks of avian influenza in poultry reported in Vietnam, Thailand China, Indonesia and Malaysia since late June 2004. The first case of human avian influenza in Cambodia was reported on 30th January 2005.   read more
